Glenn, meanwhile, has been a mainstay of the Broncos forward pack since his debut in 2009, playing 163 games in that time. The team has a glut of outside backs, but his re-signing is seen as particularly important with captain Justin Hodges retiring at season's end. He has played 17 of his 30 career games for the Broncos this season and earned plaudits for his courage and try-scoring ability. Kahu, 24, was one of the brightest prospects to come out of the under-20s program but endured an awful run of injuries before and since his 2013 debut but has been a regular fixture for the side this season. The Brisbane Broncos have re-signed Jordan Kahu and Alex Glenn on deals that will keep them at the club until the 2017 NRL season.
